Cant update memory card ?

     Hi, just bought md802 all systems maxidiag and cannot update memory card ( which came with the scanner ) says update failed ,  make sure SD card not full or wight protected .
    Card is not full and the little tab on the memory card is in the right position to allow data access when inserted into the card reader .Not sure if software itself is write-protected  Any ideas ? Or best to get new SD card and download whole lot from scratch ?

     Hi 
    It sounds like you have a bad sd card, I would try a new card ,make sure to format the card first, if that doesn't work you said you just bought the scanner new? I would return it to seller .

     Hi Is the card 4G or 8G? Yes, you can format the SD card and download the software again.

     Hi, thanks for replies - turns out my card reader was faulty ( gulp !) bought new reader and 8GB card as 4GB not big enough

     how can you download the software again? I format it due to issues reading vehicles but now I cant download anything.
